The second Best Bar None National Winners Parliamentary Reception will take place on Thursday 06 October 2011 at the Peers Dining Room, House of Lords. This is a chance to celebrate outstanding initiatives taken by individuals in the licensed trade and rewarding them for making each scheme a success. Lord Redesdale chairman of Best Bar None and host for the reception said “Best Bar None is very important to the industry and country and has been achieving some fantastic results. which is a real testament to the diligence of licensees involved in the scheme.” We are very excited to be running the National Award again this year. All the overall winners of the individual Best Bar None schemes from around the country have been taking part. The winner will be announced on the evening. Nick Simmonite from the Frog & Parrott, Sheffield was crowned the first Best Bar None National Winner in 2010 and said “It has been a great honour to win the First Best Bar None National Award and proves best practice and social responsibility are a top priority to guarantee a good safe night out in the heart of Sheffield.” The reception is kindly being sponsored by our new strategic partners Bacardi Brown – Forman Brands, Diageo, Heineken and Molson Coors.
