Best Bar None - National UK Awards Scheme

The Royal Borough celebrated its first Best Bar None winners on Monday 30 June.  More than 100 guests attended the presentation at the 20th Century Theatre, Westbourne Grove including many local licensees, police and councillors.

 37 premises within the pilot area were awarded BBN status and the winners of the awards were:

 Best Pub and Overall Winner – Coleherne, 261 Old Brompton Road

Runner-up best pub                 -    Drayton Arms

Best nightclub                       -        Blag Club

Runner-up best nightclub        -        Raffles

Best Hotel Bar                        -       Millennium Bailey’s

Runner up best hotel bar         -        Carlton Tower

Best Bar                                  -        Art Bar

Runner-up best bar                  -        Cactus Blue.

After the success of this year’s pilot we hope to roll out Best Bar None to the whole of the Borough in 2009 so watch this space!
